Step #2: Pull flower blooms off stems and place inside Ice cube trays

I used flowers from Trader Joes at my Wildflower Baby Shower event. I chose some of the most beautiful, colorful flowers from the bunch. I would also save any flower blooms to use in the ice cubes that fall off while making the floral arrangements. Fresh flowers work best.

Step #3: Pour water into ice tray and cover, either with lid or plastic wrap

Some of my ice trays do not have a lid, so I wrap those with plastic wrap to keep the flowers down in the tray and submerged in the water as best as possible. I recommend doing this to get the best look if your tray does not have a lid. I like to use purified water to ensure the ice cubes are as clear as possible.

Step #4: Place in freezer overnight

l like to make these the day before the event to ensure they are nice and frozen prior to the party. Pop them in the freezer overnight and pull them out right before your party.

Step #5: Remove from ice tray and place in desire display area

Flip over your ice tray mold on a towel and pop out the ice cubes to reveal the beautiful florals inside. I do this just prior to guest arriving to ensure they are not too melted before the party begins. The larger the ice cubes the longer they will last.

Step #6: Place in Ice bucket for beautiful display

These display beautiful in an ice bucket or cooler used to chill drinks. I like to put regular ice on the bottom and let the decorative ones sit on top. These ice cubes should not be consumed unless they are filled with edible flowers.
